Nisa-Today’s epositive system has already begun helping to streamline the businesses of over 45 members, with more signing up each day. Here is just a small sample of what they have to say about their experience in operating with the new technology.

The store is a relatively new member of Nisa-Today’s, but Tanmay was keen to get involved and is impressed with the new system’s capabilities.

We’ve been trading with the new epositive system for about five weeks and I’ve come to the conclusion that it will be of great benefit to my business. Since installation it has definitely improved efficiency in-store and yet is still uncomplicated and easy to use, said Tanmay.

As a new Nisa member the epositive system was important to me and I pushed for the installation. The actual install was great and went like clockwork. The Nisa IT team planned everything well in advance for minimum disruption and the support we received during the install and training period was superb. The Nisa team was on standby 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble – they were quick, professional and very retail friendly, just like the system.

Epositive is all I expected it to be and more. It contains everything I was told on the stand at Stoneleigh, but has room to develop which is good as it makes it future proof. The fact that everything is integrated and is very easy to access – things like having price and stock info at the touch of a button become very handy – makes it a useful addition to the store. Its very user friendly, even our older members of staff, who were used to our previous system, find it easier and clearer, and it is adaptable around the way the store works. The epositive system is bang up-to-date with retail law, it’s quicker and is not only more user friendly, but also customer friendly as they find the receipts clearer.

I’d recommend this fantastic system to other members. Its future proof in so far as there is room to develop and a growing IT support team. Also the hardware is the best there is! My bottom line has already seen an increase and will continue to do so as the system lets me manage stock capital and waste, as well as profit. Members should understand that this is our system, we can develop it in the future, use it to our benefit and it’s very well priced which is a huge consideration.

Kuldeep has trialled the system since January of this year and after an initial bedding in period has been impressed with the results.

The installation went well except for a few minor teething problems to begin with. With the help of the on-site training we quickly got the hang of the new system everything was fine and very easy to get along with. The transitional period was made very easy due to the support we have received from the epositive team, which has been brilliant with any problems attended to straight away and quickly sorted out.

Now we’re used to it it’s very easy to use and much faster than our previous system. The new touch screen facility makes it much easier for our staff to print off instant reports, which was something that wasn’t possible before. The epositive system is definitely less time consuming and more efficient. If we need to print off a till report, it’s there already, on the computer. My staff have quickly adapted to the new terminals which are easy to use and less complicated for them - so they’re happy and that makes me happy.

I would recommend epositive to all the Nisa-Today’s members. Like any new system there always a bedding in period but with great support from the epositive team it is well worth the small amount of possible disruption to reap the rewards the system has to offer.

Graeme Knowles of Nisa Local Aberdeen

As Graeme was one of the first six members of Nisa to trial epositive, he has had the system in-store since February 2008 and was thrilled with the simple installation process.

Installation of the system went very well; we got the back office a week before the new check-out tills, which allowed us to copy everything from the old system into the new ready to go live. The training for epositive was also very easy, which is reassuring for members who may be worried about installing a new system, and the ongoing support has been excellent throughout the bedding in process.

One of the great things about using the new system has been the decreased amount of time we need to spend imputing promotions; this used to take a whole morning now it is only a one hour task. This is mainly down to how epositive integrates with the Nisa central system. When we order new products off the OCS site, for example promotions that we may not stock, it adds them to our system, which means that the product information is already in the system ready to scan at the till as soon as the stock arrives.
