epositive Training
Nisa-Today’s has developed a comprehensive training package designed to ensure that members are comfortable and confident in operating all aspects of the system as quickly as possible. Delivered through a combination of on-site training, during the installation and system set-up process, together with access to more in-depth user training at our purpose built epositive training suite, at the Nisa-Today’s head office in Scunthorpe, training covers the full range of back office and check-out modules to ensure that members get the maximum benefit from their investment.
On-site
Back Office
On-site training for the epositive back-office system is an integral part of the installation and set up process. Typically we would expect the training, which can be for up to 4 staff members, to be completed in half a day.
Once the system has been connected and powered on, the installation engineer takes the member through the live process of linking to the Nisa-Today’s central servers and downloading PLOF and promotional information onto the in-store Cranberry server at the heart of the epositive solution.
Once that is completed the next step is to help to transfer any legacy data from the previous system and run through all the operational and reporting modules incorporated in the software, including the production of the shelf-edge labelling.
Checkout
Set-up and training on the epositive check-out technology is usually carried out within two weeks after the back office server. epositive system experts will take check-out staff through a comprehensive half day training course covering the features and functionality of each part of the system including the touch-screen till, product scanning and customer receipt printer.
Offsite
Nisa-Today’s offers a full-day epositive training course based in the purpose designed training suite at the Scunthorpe head office. The suite can accommodate up to 10 people and is fully equipped with back office and check-out demonstration systems to re-create a typical in-store environment.
The free training sessions run from 10:00am to 3:00pm, with lunch included, and can be booked via our epositive Support Centre at a time that most suits the member’s business operation. The suite is available for full training and refresher courses as well as induction courses for new staff members, as part of the ongoing epositive support package.
